In our home, we LOVE to cook. Wait, Grandpa Juice LOVES to cook. I LOVE to eat. Although I do make a mean reservation and can push the heck out of those buttons on the microwave! So, when we were extended to opportunity to review the Ozeri Duo Salt & Pepper Grinder, we jumped on it!

Like most middle class families, we can’t afford the fancy kitchen gadgets and have been using those disposable grinders found in grocery stores. As someone with a disability, they are impossible for me to use. So, I can’t cook AND I can’t even put salt on my own mashed potatoes!

We’ve checked out several different brands from high end shops and they are either way to complicated or simply out of our price range. Being a ‘foodie’ can be tricky on a budget and since we much prefer coarse sea salt and whole peppercorn over regular table salt and pepper, this little baby fit the bill. Literally! It’s not only extremely easy to use but also very affordable.

The Ozeri Duo Ultra Salt & Pepper Grinder is not just your ordinary grinder either! It’s an all-in-one grinder that houses both your salt and pepper all in one unit. The design is sleek, attractive, and very easy to use. The stainless steel / black combo matches my kitchen appliances perfectly! The two separate compartments have clear windows so you always know just how much is in there. We also really like that it has dual adjustable, eco-friendly ceramic grinding mechanisms that adjust from fine to coarse. Grandpa Juice does not like crunching into peppercorns. I’m not a fan of chunky salt. Perfect, easy and really easy to use.
Ozeri Duo Ultra Salt and Pepper GrinderWe have been using this sweet gadget from Ozeri for about three weeks now, and the only downside we found is that our 5 year old small fry can do it! Now, he wants to put salt and pepper on everything. Chocolate ice cream, yogurt and even his peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I played along the first day or so but put a quick stop to it when the chocolate ice cream came into the picture. Other then that tiny little negative, we give it a total of six thumbs up! (Me, Grandpa and the small fry!)

  24. As soon as I went on that page I saw a food scale. I’ve always wanted one so when I buy bulk family packs of meat and divide them up I can try to do it more evenly. Or at least mark the package so I know I have the right amount for a given recipe.
